Service Address (necessary to properly quote T1 Service)

Survey Questions:  (necessary to properly quote  service price)

a.       A User Account is defined as either;

                                                               i.      a phone station for an employee or;

ii.      phone station for a location ( like “front counter” or “Kitchen”, or “conference room”) or a phone station for a Fax

a.     Typically an organization identifies which employees need voice mail

b.      Additionally, an organization may also have a “General Voice Mail” account or “Departmental Voice Mail”  i.e…’Sales’…’Service’, etc.

c.       Each Voice Mail Account requires a corresponding User Account – but each User
Account does not necessarily need a Voice Mail Account

d.      A great feature of the Voice Mail System is the ability for us to send  .wav file
attachment of the voice mail message to one or more email addresses.

e.      This allows for easy and creative ways for you to handle important voice mails, such as
email forwarding them to a group of people, or the correct person or even archiving
important voice mails for future playback

f.      Additionally, an SMS text message can be sent to alert the user that “a voice mail has been deposited in your account” – this is great for users who do not have PDA Phones and would be unable to listen to an email attached .wav file, but still need to know if they have new voice mail on the corporate system and that they should call in and pick up their voice mail or simply log into their email and pick up the .wav file…

a.    A Tele-worker would be someone on the system that would be connecting via the Public Internet from home or from another office

b.    The Tele-worker would still have a “seat” on the core system and in fact would be as reachable as any other extension down the hall or in the next cube at the office!

c.     Tele-Worker is a great solution for businesses with a corporate headquarters and
satellite offices or employees that work from home or anywhere on the planet!

d.    This allows employees to “hot desk” between locations.

                                       i.      So, if you were to find yourself working from a particular office, you can simply log into a phone and all your calls would ring down to your location

ii.     Simply log back into your office phone when you get back to corporate and you are back to “normal” call routing.

a.      Cell Twinning is the ability for your cell phone to ring simultaneously with your desktop extension when someone calls your extension.

b.      The idea  is that if you are away from your desk you will not miss a call to your extension

c.       When you answer on the cell phone you can make your way back to your desk, in conversation with the caller, and pick up the handset and the call will automatically switch to the desk set and hang up the cell call (preserving your minutes) and the caller will not even know the transition took place.

d.      This is also useful when you are on the road out of the office, although there are other call coverage options for call forwarding that you can self manage with the system’s web interface, from anywhere you have Internet access ( no configuration software is necessary)

a.      This is similar to how many copper lines you have today

b.      As you may or may not know, in VoIP the “lines” are virtual and speak to capacity

c.      Typically a 20 person company may only need 6 or 7 concurrent lines as not all people will be on the phone at the same time

d.      But this varies from business to business, as you can imagine

                                      i.       a sales pit or call center is different from an accounting department or a service department

e.     A good start is to mimic the system you have today – if you have 5 lines now, fill in 5 to this question

f.       As a reference and to help you budget – each concurrent line is $9.95/month

a.    A DID is “Direct Inward Dialing” which refers to a dedicated phone number

b.    Transferring is also known as LNP ( Local Number Portability) – this means that, by law, you can take your phone numbers with you as you transfer your service between phone companies (carriers)

c.    This is critical for business continuity and for already published (printed!) phone numbers ( it almost goes without saying – but rest assured you can bring your current phone numbers with you)

d.   Streamline Networks will take care of all of the coordination with your current carrier and arrange for a "zero-down-time" transition of your business communications

a.       Toll Free Numbers cost $9.95/month to transfer

b.      If you need a new 800# we can provide that for you as well

a.   We offer the use of the T1 for Internet access if so desired and can provide a public, fixed IP address

b.    We would work with you to determine if the single Point-to-Point T1 that we provide for the voice is sufficient or if you would need a second T1 to augment your bandwidth.

                        c.   Alternatively, you can keep your current Internet Service Provider (ISP)
