PARTICIPATION FEE

I certify that all of the information above is correct to the best of my knowledge, and I agree to notify the Pacific Puddle Jump organizers of any substantial changes or updates. I further agree that my participation in the Pacific Puddle Jump rally carries with it certain inherent risks ranging from minor injury to death. I acknowledge that my participation in the rally is voluntary and that I am knowingly assuming all such risks. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pacific Puddle Jump organizer Andy Turpin, Latitude 38 Media LLC, Sail Tahiti, Tahiti Tourisme, Archipelagoes, Tahiti Crew yacht agency and all other sponsors and supporters from any and all claims, actions, suits, procedures, costs, expenses, damages and liabilities, including attorneys’ fees, brought as a result of my involvement in the Rally.

Registration for the Pacific Puddle Jump requires a per-boat participation fee. 1) This fee allows your boat to be included in our fleet 'safety database', and your daily positions and status recorded. 2) Beginning today, and continuing until the end of the Pacific Puddle Jump crossing season in July, you will receive a series of informational 'Fleet Letters' by email which will contain important info and updates, including relevant policy changes from the French Polynesian government. 3) You will also be eligible to receive discounts on goods and services from our sponsors, including reduced rates on all services of our Tahitian yacht agent, such as clearance, "repatriation bond" exemptions for your crew, and duty-free fuel access beginning in the Marquesas (a savings of approximately 45%, or roughly $275 on 100 gallons). 4) You'll also be invited to attend South Pacific Bon Voyage seminars, PPJ sendoff parties 6) and eligable to receive an official PPJ burgee and other PPJ 'swag'.
