Georgia taxpayers can request the dollar-for-dollar Qualified Education Expense (QEE) Tax Credit and donate through Pay it Forward Scholarships. QEE Tax Credits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Taxpayers are pre-approved for the QEE Tax Credit before donating.
New for 2023! Georgia has increased the QEE Tax Credit limits per filing status and raised the cap to $120 million.
Taxpayers select the school where they would like to fund scholarships and the funds will be divided equally among all approved, eligible students who have a current and complete application with Pay it Forward Scholarships.
