The deadline to submit a 2024 Georgia Qualified Education Expense Tax Credit request through Pay it Forward Scholarships was Sunday, December 31, 2023 at 11:59 PM EST. Pay it Forward Scholarships electronically submitted all requests received by the deadline to the Georgia Department of Revenue on the first business day of 2024 - Tuesday, January 2, 2024. The Georgia Department of Revenue notified SSOs that the $120 million dollar cap was met on 1/2/2024. No additional 2024 QEE Tax Credits remain.
You can submit a request for the 2025 QEE Tax Credit beginning on March 1, 2024. The 2025 request form will remain open until December 31, 2024.
