**Players are divided into training groups based on their skill level.

BEACH ACADEMY 2022

Beach Academy -- April, May, June, & July

FOR Boys and Girls - Beach Academy – for junior volleyball players looking to learn the fundamentals of beach volleyball.

Training sessions will be primarily focused on individual skill building (serve, pass, set, hit, defend) and less on doubles or fours game play.
These sessions are also suitable for players that want to improve and prepare for future indoor play.

*Age is less important than ability/skill level. NWJRS reserves the right to move athletes placed in Spring Training to Beach Academy if coaches determine ability level is more appropriate for academy. Conversely athletes registered for Beach Academy that qualify for Spring Training are able to move to Spring Training upon request.

Beach Fall Academy -- Aug 9th - Sept 1st

For both girls and boys entering Grades 4-8 AND Grades 9-12 (Fall of 2022).
**All Skills -- During the first session players are assessed and grouped by age and skill. It is most important to have players of similar skill on the same court in order to keep each court moving at the proper pace.

Registrations are accepted on a first come basis and based on space availability.

AVP MEMBERSHIP* is required to particpate in Beach Academy and is not included in the cost of Beach Academy.
--This is the insurance that allows players to step foot onto the court.
--Recommended: Silver or greater starts at $25

*Important to note for new AVP registrations: parent must create a FREE Basic AVP account and then add/link to their under U18 child. Membership must be in player name.
