Summer Project Funding Application

Overview

During the summer term, RISE and Bogle fellows are eligible to apply for up to $500 in project funding to support expenses that deepen their learning and engagement with their summer internship. The Summer Internship Funding application form opens in late May. For questions about this process, please reach out to Matt Lynn or Jenny Wagner. We offer small grants of up to $500 in funding to support student expenses that are directly related to the work they are doing with the community organization where they are interning this summer.

Examples of funding proposals include...

Funding for travel expenses for an on-site retreat at your organization
Site visits relevant to your summer internship work
Training or conference opportunities related to your internship

Partnership Guidelines

We recommend discussing this proposal with your internship supervisor to explore how your proposal connects with your professional development and how it can support the mission of their organization

APPLICATIONS ARE REVIEWED ON A ROLLING BASIS, AND DUE AT LEAST 4 WEEKS BEFORE THE CONCLUSION OF YOUR INTERNSHIP. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU SHOULD APPLY AT LEAST 2-3 WEEKS IN ADVANCE OF WHEN YOU NEED THE FUNDING.
