Preference will be given to applicants who promote environmentally friendly behaviour to our community and demonstrate a commitment to carrying out environmentally sustainable measures such as:

- The complete removal of unneccessary packing and/or the use reusable storage containers and packaging
- Use of environmentally friendly products in their event activites such as: cleaning products, promotional material, event decor and other innovative environmental initiatives
- Use of organic produce and products
- Products, produce and/or equipment purchased locally
- Reduced power requirements
- Exhibitors who actively seek to reduce their environmental impact
- Compliance with the below 'single-use plastic free' commitment.

Eco Fiesta 2020 - Single-Use Plastic Free!

In 2019  Townsville City Council began it's initiative  for single-use plastic free community events.  This is now a condition of participation in this and all future Council run community events.

Single-use plastics include but are not limited to - plastic cups, cutlery, bags, straws, bottles, food packaging, merchandise, balloons, plastic price tags etc.

We will have a rehydration water station on site for free water refills so please spread the word to encourage the public to bring along their own reusable bottles.  We will also be asking for public to bring along there own bags.

For more information please refer to Council's 'Plastic Free How To Guide'  outlining the best (and worst) products to use.

I agree to join the movement of "banning single-use plastic to make the world fantastic " in all it's forms at Eco Fiesta 2020. *

Please let us know which of the following categories suits your business / organisation best. *

At Eco Fiesta 2020 we are encouraging all participants to provide something interactive as part of their site. Preference will be given to applicants who can provide this sort of interactive experience to people attending this event.

These additions to your site can be very simple, but they may just help some of our visitors stay a little longer at your stall and perhaps purchase or learn a little more.

Some example of interactive activites;
   - Do you have 'hints and tips' or small demonstrations you might be able to present from you site?
   - Could you include puzzles, games or craft activites to encourage people to visit your site and stay a little longer?
   - Could you create a space where people could sit and enjoy their surroundings?

Power and Water

POWER:
Have you selected a Powered Site above?
 *
As part of your site setup Council will provide 1 x 10amp outlet to your site as standard. You may request to have this replaced with a 15amp outlet at no extra charge.
Additional power may be requested at the following additional costs:
    - 10 or 15 amp outlets - $20.40 per outlet
    - 32amp outlet - $82.60 per outlet
Please select your power requirements below.

Site Set-up

Exhibitors have two opportunities to set-up prior to the event. When is your preferred set-up time? (you can choose one or both) *
There will be security onsite overnight on the Saturday evening, however stallholders leaving items overnight do so at their own risk and Council will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to equipment or stock.

Our suggestion, for those wishing to take advantage of the early access, is to set-up your marquee/s, display vehicles and furniture etc. on the Saturday and then you can return on Sunday, simply to layout your stock / display items.
