Plans and certificates that may be supplied are from Council’s records only and do not include any notifiable or illegal works which may have been carried out on the property.

As constructed drainage plans

As constructed drainage plans show the works as installed, which may differ from the initial design plans.

If the requested plans are available for the property, charges will apply for each plan supplied (plus copying charges). Charges for 2022/2023 are:

Residential 2 business day turnaround - $25.50
Residential rapid request 1 business day turnaround - $35.70
Commercial 5 business day turnaround - $61.20
Commercial rapid request less than 5 business day turnaround - $81.60

Final inspection certificates

A final inspection certificate is issued for approved and finalised plumbing and drainage works lodged through Townsville City Council.

A processing fee of $31 will apply after a search has identified that a certificate is available (2022/2023 financial year). There is a minimum turnaround of 2 full business days.

Approved house design drainage plans

Approved drainage design plans of current and/or historical plumbing and drainage permit works include plans lodged and approved through Townsville City Council, showing how the proposed work was intended to be installed. (For the record of how the drainage plans were actually installed, please request the as constructed drainage plans for the property.)
