GALLERY SPACE - APPLICATION & AGREEMENT

Purpose:  A small community art space to display and promote the works of local artists
 
Who can exhibit?  Must be a resident of Townsville and surrounds
 
How long can you exhibit for? 6 weekly rotation
 
What you can exhibit?  Works must be suitable for hanging on the wall.  Visual artworks eg. paintings, original prints (not reproductions), mixed media, photographic works.
 
Work must be no larger than 50cm in either direction (negotiable dependent on weight of artwork).  Work must have D-rings on the back suitable for hanging.  Each work should have the title of work, name of artist, and price on the back.
 
Work must be for sale.  A commission on sales of 15% to be paid to CIC.
 
Number of works to be exhibited to be negotiated, dependent on size and availability of space.
 
While due care will be taken with artwork, CIC will not be held responsible for any damage to work or theft of work.
 
CIC management reserves the right to refuse any work that they deem is not suitable for display in a community organisation.

By signing this agreement, you agree to the above conditions and to pay CIC a commission of 15%.
