PENSIONER TRANSPORT SUBSIDY SCHEME

Important Information

  • All applications require a photocopy, or scanned and emailed copy, of both sides of the pensioner’s current signed Queensland "Pensioner Concession Card” or DVA Health Card (All Conditions within Australia) or DVA Health Card (Totally & Permanently Incapacitated).
  • A separate pension application form is required for each pension
  • All applications are subject to approval under the conditions of council's Pensioner Transport Subsidy Scheme.
  • All applications are subject to confirmation.
  • Seniors Cards and Health Care Cards are not applicable.
  • Magnetic Island Ferry Vouchers are issued yearly. There is no replacement for lost or stolen cards and the cards are not redeemable for cash.
  • A maximum of 2 replacement Bus Transport Cards will be issued in any financial year if lost or stolen.
