Every Council meeting will be open to the public, except where Council, acting under its powers in the Local Government Regulation 2012 resolves to close a meeting.
 
Members of the public are permitted in the public gallery or area set aside for the public. Space constraints including constraints relating to social distancing may result in Council limiting the number of members of the public who may attend a meeting.
 
Members of the public may participate in Council meetings, by way of a deputation. Copies of meeting agendas are available on the Meetings, Agendas & Minutes page.

Members of the public must maintain good order at meetings in accordance with Local Law No. 1 (Administration) 2011.
 
Mobile phones and audible pagers must be turned off or placed in silent mode in the meeting room, including any area set aside for the public.
