Audition Process & Casting

An audition is a chance for the Artistic Director to determine a role for each student. Choreography will be taught at the audition by the Artistic Director and instructors. Participants must be able to follow instruction and demonstrate the technique/acting that is taught. Once the audition is over, the Artistic Director, and instructors will assign roles. The Artistic Director may follow up and observe classes the following week to make a final decision. It may take up to a week for the cast list to be announced, which will be via email and posted on the academy bulletin board.

The cast list is decided based on the Artistic Director's professional expertise. We ask that everyone is respectful of that decision. Parent or student complaints will not be tolerated.

*Participants must be 4 years old and potty trained at the time of audition.
