Tommy's Place

Tommy's Place is a vacation home for kids fighting cancer so they can spend quality time with their families. Sunday is turnover day, when one family moves out and the house is prepared for brand new occupants. One family at a time, along with their extended family and friends, can relax, make memories and more importantly have fun for a full week at no charge! Tommy's Place serves 104 families per year.
Cape Cod Foster Closet

The Cape Cod Foster Closet is an organization that supports foster and relative caregiver families by providing material goods for children in care and helps fulfill the physical and emotional needs of foster families throughout the year. Volunteers will help the closet get ready for their annual 'Welcome Summer' event where they give away summer clothing and gear to 150+ families. Three to four volunteers are needed for 3-4 hours to organize and inventory new donated summer gear.
Cape Cod Children's Museum

Cape Cod Children's Museum serves children and families of Cape Cod year-round and is the largest and only museum on the Cape dedicated entirely to children. There's been a lot happening this past year with new exhibits and outdoor spaces, and more collaborations and educational programs than ever before. They could use your help with a variety of different jobs from museum organization to light landscaping and painting.
Dream Day on Cape Cod

Dream Day on Cape Cod is a camp located adjacent to Nickerson State Park on 31 acres and is dedicated to bringing respite into the lives of children with serious or life-threatening illness. Let's help them prepare for their campers! Projects include cleaning cabins, light painting and planting flowers.
Carriage House

Now in its 49th year, Housing Assistance Corporation strengthens the Cape Cod and Islands region by empowering individuals, fostering community connections, and increasing affordable housing. The Carriage House family shelter supports new and expecting mothers. It has a lovely outdoor space for children living at the shelter, however the deck needs an update. A fresh coat of paint would be the perfect finising touch to allow shelter clients to enjoy being outside in the warmer weather. The work will take approximately 2 hours for 3-4 volunteers.
Cape Kid Meals

1336 Main Street, Osterville

Cape Kid Meals was created to close the gap and provide food for students over the weekend. One in six children on Cape Cod are facing hunger and many of these children are school-aged. Most participate in the free breakfast and lunch programs, however weekends can be very difficult for many. Cape Kid Meals helps close that gap and serves 70% of all public schools on the Cape. Tasks include packing non-perishable food and breaking down packaging.
Cape Cod Cape Verdean Museum & Cultural Center

The Museum & Cultural Center was the location for Session 4 of CCIAOR's Leadership Academy this year. It celebrates the past, present and future of Cabo Verde's rich history, culture and its contributions to the world. The grounds include the Museum, meeting space and garden. This historic property was famous nationally for its top-producing strawberry farm in the early 1900's which is where our volunteers will help with replanting, weeding, and general maintenance. 
Homeless Prevention Council (HPC) Walk for Home

As you know, our community is facing a housing crisis. HPC is confronting the situation by providing support and resources to guide our local workforce to financial independence and housing preservation to prevent homelessness by helping to stabilize individuals and families in need. When you lace up for Walk for Home, you directly support their life-changing services. This is a 2.2 mile walk down historic Commercial Street in Provincetown or a flat 2 mile walk down Main Street in Chatham.
